Author's Summary herein Draco Malfoy is a Forensic Analyst employed by the DMLE, has an ongoing feud with Coulson who works days, irreparably frightens assistants, imbibes massive amounts of coffee and quite possibly engages in too much snarky banter with his liaison, Inspector Potter.
Why everyone should read this: This was written for hd_career_fair using one of the list of prompts I requested including a Bones AU. The author delivered tenfold and I'm sure I didn't sufficiently squee with my comment since coherency was not on the agenda after reading such a perfectly AU tale with perfectly IC subjects.
You will be pulled into this fantastic story, especially if you're a lover of forensics and/or mystery novels, but that's not a prerequisite for enjoying this. The Weasley kids are present and are a joy to read. Draco and Harry's relationship with the kids is adorable and fun, as is the interaction between Draco and Harry.
Sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and settle in with this one. You won't be sorry.

Title: Where We Once Belonged (WIP)

Author's Summary: WIP. ridiculously AU. Pansy's in danger and hero!Harry comes to her rescue. You know, maybe. Rated for swearing.
Why everyone should read this: Pansy becomes engaged to Draco, who is, without her knowledge, playing double (triple?) agent in a war that is officially over. When the Order comes to suspect him of betrayal, they decide to capture his SO for information. Harry doesn't approve of using innocent people in that way; he warns Pansy and invites her to hide at his flat, and hijinks ensue. Or, at least, lots of humor and witty banter ensue, and some angst.
tahwekilelohcin writes with a quirky sort of humor (it reminds me a little ofbk11, if you are familiar with her work). That's the main reason why everyone should read this fic: because it's hilarious, but the wackiness is balanced out with serious considerations of Pansy's messed-up-but-not-entirely-so relationship with Draco, and how that affects her growing relationship with Harry, as well as the advance of corruption in the Order of the Phoenix. There's some good (and funny) Ron/Hermione on the side as well, and this is coming from someone who normally hates Ron/Hermione. But seriously, read it for moments like this:

The only downside to this fic is that it is incomplete, and since it hasn't been updated for a long time, I am afraid it will remain so. Despite that, it is still very much worth reading, and I don't think H/P shippers can afford to be that picky anyway.

Author’s Notes: Where to begin. This story is the final part of my trio of my post A Little More Time stories nicknamed The Monster Master arc and as it stands is riddled with references to my previous fics and, I will admit, may not entirely make sense without having read them. It contains reference to A Little More Time, Family Ties, Counting Legs and Ill Met By Moonlight in the Portalverse and also pulls in my 2007 Christmas one-shot To Believe in passing, as well as For Want of Silken Thread, my canon compliant version of the flashback section of Oblivious. Blimey. I think my back referencing got a bit carried away… I can’t remember the code for neat links so here’s the full links:
